Crafting a brand to make two different companies personalities - cohesive
The two café owners who became friends by chance, decided that they needed to enlist the expertise of a web design specialist to help crystallize their differing aesthetics to create a unified vision centered around their passion— specialty coffee.
The logo draws inspiration from the iconic Chem X (one of owners favorite brewing methods), taking cues from the majestic Swiss mountains, a homage to the owners' origins. Crafted to embody the essence of the “elevated” specialty coffee experience
Redesigning the site using the new branding
To continue the project, I delved into comprehensive research, examining both the existing websites of the two established cafes and those of surrounding competitors in the area. This thorough analysis involved studying various aspects such as design aesthetics, user experience features, and overall presentation. By scrutinizing not only the immediate competition but also the broader café landscape, I was able to gain valuable insights to inform the redesign process effectively.
The revamped café website show cases clean lines, and intuitive design that helped it successfully achieve its audience target by embodying a unique brand identity, offering a user-friendly interface, reflecting local charm, and appealing to diverse audiences.
Through collaboration with the café owner and thorough research and testing processes, the website now serves as a digital extension of the café's welcoming atmosphere, inviting both longtime patrons and new visitors to explore its offerings and become part of its community.

Product sales growth
With the implementation of this website update and branding, the company was able to increase its customer foot traffic at both prior locations. They hope to have the same success at their third branch opening Jan 2025. The new logo and brand raised customer demand for t-shirts, mugs, beans and other merch also.
